...a bit about me:
Meredith Weir is an writer and actor based in Chicago, IL and 2017 graduate of the Harold Ramis Film School (HRFS). Previously from Philadelphia, PA she spent much of her time directing, teaching, and performing improv and sketch comedy at the Philly Improv Theater.
Meredith currently freelances on a variety of digital content being created in Chicago as a writer, performer and producer.
Aside from studying comedy in Philadelphia Meredith has also completed the entire Upright Citizens Brigade curriculum and is currently in their advanced study program for improvisation. Meredith has also completed the improv curriculum at iO, Annoyance theater, CIC Theater and the conservatory at The Second City.
She has studied under Keisha Zoller, Don Fanelli, Kate (Reily) Zelensky, Jeff Griggs, Norm Holly, Rachael Mason, Brian Faas, and Matt Dennie.
Meredith is currently teaching and directing improv, sketch, and TV Film and Media at The Second City, The Annoyance Theater, iO Theater and Logan Square Improv.
